Organizer’s Guide A complete guide to an effective and safe cleanup: the steps, the material, how to work with the media, safety rules, rules to protect the environment and more.

Data Card 1 – Debris Inventory This data card will help you keep track of debris you collect. Once you have compiled your results, you will be able to identify problems and implement solutions to solve them. form to print form to fill online During the TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup (3rd week of September), we invite you to use their Data Card for debris inventory.

Data Card 2 – Health Check This card helps you assess the health status of your site. The health check will enable you to identify problems affecting your site. This card must be completed and returned to us. form to print form to fill online

Help Card 1 – Site Inspection This card will help you identify logistical constraints and potential hazards in order to ensure the safety of volunteers. Measures to minimize impacts during the cleanup are also proposed.

Help Card 2 – Itchy Plants This card provides information about four plant species that produce irritants. Suggestions are provided on how to avoid contact and control irritation.

Help Card 3 – Organizer’s Checklist This one-page overview of a cleanup tells you what to do, what to say to volunteers and what you need.

Help Card 4 – Data Interpretation This card will help you to analyze your results and draw conclusions from them.

Learning Card 1 – Identifying Fauna This card will enable you to identify 30 species of animals living in freshwater habitats.

Learning Card 2 – Identifying Flora This card will enable you to identify 30 species of plants and the freshwater habitats in which they grow.

Learning Card 3 – Wetlands This card describes the natural habitats that are found on the shoreline of rivers and lakes.
